LensEra is not just a video hosting platform; it's a community of people. We trust our users and expect responsibility from them. To make everyone comfortable, we have developed these rules. Please take them seriously.
1. Spam and Deceptive Practices
We want users to find exactly what they are looking for. Therefore, the following is prohibited on LensEra:
- Misleading Metadata: It is forbidden to use titles, thumbnails, or tags that do not match the video content to deceptively attract views.
- Scams: Content promising users quick money, "free" cash, or encouraging participation in pyramid schemes.
- Spam: Posting a large number of repetitive, untargeted, or meaningless comments and messages.
2. Sensitive Content
We strive to make the platform safe for all ages. The following content is unacceptable:
- Nudity and Sexual Content: Videos containing pornography or explicit scenes will be removed. Exceptions may be made for educational, documentary, or artistic materials, provided there is an age restriction.
- Self-Harm: Content encouraging or idealizing suicide, self-injury, or eating disorders is prohibited.
3. Violence and Dangerous Activities
The world is already full of cruelty; we do not want to multiply it on our platform.
- Cruelty: Posting graphic footage of violence, fights, injuries, or animal abuse is prohibited if the goal is to shock the viewer.
- Dangerous Challenges: Videos demonstrating actions that could lead to serious injury or death (e.g., choking, consuming dangerous substances) are prohibited.
4. Discrimination and Harassment
We support freedom of speech but do not tolerate hate speech.
- Hate Speech: Content promoting violence or hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, or sexual orientation.
- Cyberbullying: Insults, threats, revealing personal information (doxxing), and harassing other users are strictly prohibited.
5. Child Safety
Protecting minors is our top priority. We immediately remove content that:
- Endangers children (emotionally or physically).
- Contains sexualization of minors.
- Draws attention to children for the purpose of exploitation.
If we find illegal content involving children, we not only block the account but also report it to the appropriate law enforcement agencies.
6. Consequences of Violations
If you violate these rules, we may remove your content and send you a warning (strike).
- First Violation: Usually a warning. We remove the content and explain which rule was broken.
- Strikes: If violations continue, you receive "strikes". Three strikes within 90 days will result in the permanent deletion of your channel without the possibility of recovery.
- Severe Violations: In cases of serious violations (e.g., terrorism or child exploitation), the channel may be deleted immediately without warning.
